Every year in July, Oswego hosts the famous Harborfest, which
brings many admission-free entertainment to
stages located throughout the city. Also
including a parade and many other
activities for the children. Not to mention
the annual Fireworks Spectacular that brings more that 100,000 spectators.

Oswego is also home to the nationally famed Oswego Speedway, and runs numerous races in the summer months. Other
than the regular season races, they host
dirt track karting on Thursday nights,
(May-August) and asphalt karting on Sunday
mornings, (May-November). |

Fort Ontario is
another attraction in Oswego, with a
calander of events rom April to October.
Some of these events include an annual kite
festival, evolutionary War Encampment with
living history demonstrations, and a candle
light ghost tour. |

| Fishing opportunities are year round
with dozens of skilled charter Captains or
river guides available for a remarkable
fishing experience. There are also plenty
of local marinas that can accomodate
vessels of all sizes. Tournaments also held
to compete for cash and prizes. |
